Kokuban

It’s a real pleasure to discover places like this one!

Japanese restaurants, we’ve already tried quite a few, but this one is a little different from the other. If you’re feeling like sushis, then keep walking. Here, you’ll eat ramens, the typical japanese noodle soups.

They’re served in huge bowls, all different from each other. Don’t be scared not to have enough, the soups are very generous.

What I really like about Kokuban are the otsumamis ; some sort of starters coming in little portions, and which are also quite reasonable ; between 4 to 6 euros, and 12 euros for the sashimis. Chicken in miso sauce, marinated tofu, mountain vegetables, tuna sashimi, but especially, the gyozas. Best thing ever.

For dessert, I tried the ice-cream trio. You can pick between different flavors, and i chose ginger, sesame, and green tea. I like the ginger the most.

The atmosphere is quite nice : nice wooden tables and stools, a black chalkboard covered in drawings, et light spots lightening each table.

A great night, and a very reasonable bill.
