El Turco was the kind of place missing in Brussels
Located Place de Londres, they serve mediterranean food with ottoman inspirations, in a really cool setting. We discovered the place for lunch. Here, when you come in, you get a tray then fill your plate with everything you like : cold or hot mezze, like grilled eggplants with yoghurt, lamb keftas, oven grilled pumpkin with black sesame seeds… We wanna try everything!
The food’s delicious, savory and really healthy, what else do you need. Eating veggie food becomes really easy over here. You will pay your plate according to its weight. With our plates full, we were each around ten euros. The place is quite simple though beautiful, with natural materials like wood and concrete, little decorative details and a cool graphic identity.
EL Turco is also a bar and serves all you can eat buffet from wednesday to friday for 19,5 euros!
